If you are unable to come here, library staff will do quick look-ups for remote researchers. The fee for this service is $3.00 per lookup. Local newspapers go back to 1844. For an obituary, the researcher must provide the death date and we will search for one week after that date. For vital records, an approximate year is requested.

While the staff will attempt to do slightly more complicated research as time allows, we do not have sufficient personnel to compile extensive historical or genealogical information. Charges for these services are $24 per hour, assessed per quarter hour. All research is done on a first come, first served basis, and must be fit around other staff duties.
